Our parade judges Susan Lindquist and Elliott Carr would remind you that this year's Brewster in Bloom was very much like the first festival April 25 and 26, 1987: COLD!!!

Well, we may have had gloomy weather this year, but everyone was upbeat and everything went on with out a hitch. Even the Sunday downpour at 3:15 PM didn't deter the artisans at Cape Cod Sea Camps from finishing out the show to the 4 PM deadline!

Parade Winners Announced:

This year's winners of the parade (which really moved along!) are as follows:

  • Most Original: Northeast Construction Co.
  • Most Creative: Brewster Green Resort
  • Most Humorous: Cape Rep Theatre
  • Best Interpretation of Theme: Nauset High Band (because they kept the parade going with their cadence!)
  • Best in Show: First Parish Brewster Unitarian Universalist Church

Winners will receive a framed certificate featuring a picture of their float taken by official Brewster in Bloom photographer William F. Pomeroy.
