Happy Holidays from the
Brewster Chamber of Commerce!
The cloudy sky, reflecting the rising full moon, blanketed Drummer Boy Park as hundreds gathered for the 8th Annual Brewster for the Holidays Illumination Ceremony on December 5. The event marks the beginning of the holiday season as businesses open their doors with events and special offers all weekend long and into the month. (Chamber picture by Dawn Sternlieb)
Many volunteers make this opening event possible, lead by sponsors WeNeedAVacation.com and the Brewster Historical Society. Thanks to Brewster Fire & Rescue (lights and Santa's transporation), Barnstable County Sheriff's Department (20' x 40' tent), Nauset Rotary Club (parking), Brewster Baptist Church (luminaries), Eddy Elementary School Choir (sing-a-long), Brewster Band and Steve Stranger (sound system and music), The Family Schools (cocoa and treats), Dune's 102.3 FM (media sponsor), and Santa!
